Surprisingly nice hotel, right across from the train station. Had a room overlooking the station square, which I thought would be unbearably noisy, but was fine (I don't mind city noise). Very clean, well equipped, friendly staff, decent breakfast, convenient location, free wireless.

I found the those off the main dining room (agree with comments on the slightly strange layout) to be nicer than the others, but see that some people have had issues with noise in that part of the hotel. The rooms are sparkling clean, but as others have mentioned, the layout is odd. Rooms open directly on to the lobby, so expect to hear talking, rattling dishes, etc. The front desk person had a cough, so guess what all the customers listened to all night? Wifi is free, but I could only connect in the lobby, not my room.

I'm always satisfied when I stay at Les Arcades. The service is very good, the hotel is well located for someone who travels for business, in front of the Cornavin station. I like very much the breakfast served there and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.
