It is exactly true and it also means there will not be the same services for hotel guests that you would expect from a 'real' hotel. they call themselves switzerlands smallest 5 star hotel, which brings me right to the point... its never 5 stars - at best 4. very few nice, spacious and newly renovated rooms with a view of the lake (at least some of them), but lobby, reception, elevator and staircase clearly need a makeover as they do look a bit rundown. people... We stayed here for my husbands birthday. The service, room, location, food and environment were perfect in every way. We cant recommend it highly enough.

probably one of the best kept secrets in Geneva, the food was amazing and the gardens were absolutely gorgeous yet very close to the city center. having stayed at Mandarin, Four Seasons and Kempinsky before this would definitely be our choice next time we are in Geneva, much more personal and amazing.
