I stayed there for 2 Nights, no doubt location is very good, but room size is very small, moreover very poor service as there ia no reception in this hotel..everything is managed by hotel Monopole..Best part is Mcdonald's, Burger king and starbucks are walking distance to this hotel..so for 2 nights it's okay to stay here

Hotel Alpina was an excellent stop in our tour. We travelled with kids for about 4-5 days in end of Jan 2012. Alpina is excellent in its Location and very well appointed rooms. only small draw backs were the small elevator and non availability of wifi in rooms. hence get wifi by getting swisscom cards.

The check-in for this place is in the Hotel Metropol. Great location, quiet and near the train station. The rooms are very spacious and clean. A great breakfast buffet at the Hotel Metropol.

The hotel is standard and could be convenient, taking into account the Luzern Hotels' prices, besides it has a great location But it is very noisy, the street is pleanty of bars, and the windows has no isolation.
