We stayed at the old building on the second flor for 7 days. The way from the lift to our room was pasing by the laundery washing room . The room was very plain with dirty windows and dirty carpet. Our bed linens where changed after 4 nights and also only after our request. We had no hot water for...

Our two rooms at the Eigerblick were clean and comfortable, albeit very 'plain'. Staff was more than happy to help with every/any need. The breakfasts were very good, as well. They included fresh cheeses, meats, yogurt, granola, etc. We walked to Grindelwald which was a little 'jaunt' down the hill, but because the weather was beautiful, we didn't mind a...

When planning my next winter vacation- I remembered our very good experiance in a well managed hotel. A very friendly and helpfull staff. The Room was large, The Loby- cosy with Wi-Fi. The breakfasts excellent ( made us relluctant to leav for skiing..)Dinners-good in a nice atmosfere. Overall- very recommended ! (A busy surgeon staying with his father)
Location: 10min walk up an easy hill from town. No problem, parking was available.
Room: Standard room was pricey and modestly-furnished (especially for a 3star hotel!), however great view and everything worked well (including heating and hot water).
Restaurant: We only had breakfast, which was fine, nothing special.
Service: Outstanding - Stacey at the front desk was happy to help...

Hotel Eigerblick is in an ideal location, Im not a very young person in fact 62! ny second visit to this area, and I have no problem with the approach but other less able people might. Hotel is about 15minutes good walk from village - easily done by anyone, and *even with snow covered roads. The hotel will collect you...

We found the hotel through the interval timeshare agency and came based on some positive reviews. Upon first glance, the room was very plain...

The staff wasn't attentive, the hotel manager sneaked about all the time smoking cigarettes (even in the kitchen of the hotel own restaurant!). Dinner at this restaurant ("Gade") was...

Restaurant staff excellent.
that's where it ended.
Night One.
Booked and paid 6 months prior. Did not have our booking on arrival. Managed to work it out ( and get a room) as we had kept our reservation confirmation.
That night. No heating. Reception advised, a fault with entire floor....
