Wengen is a great place, car free, and when you arrive by train from Lauterbrunnen the hotel is right there, minutes away. The welcome was warm, rooms were comfortable - breakfast great. Right beside the station and within 5 minutes walk of the main gondola. The hotel has a ski room and a ski hire shop within the building so everything was close to hand. A great hotel with staff always willing to please and superb food. It's very difficult to fault it. As for the location, it's a WOW as you look out from your balcony up at the Jungfrau. Being next to the mountain railway station makes getting about so easy.

One of the rooms had been updated and the other was in need of updating, Both were clean and had all the amenities needed.
