Arrived in Davos having just been totally ripped off by the Austrian authorities who kindly pointed out we needed an 8 euro permit to drive on Austrian roads (having only skimmed through the country for all of 2 hours before leaving for Switzerland) and fined us 120 euros!!!!! Stayed for 5 nights on midweek special in February 08. Upon arrival they gave us an appartment instead of hotel room. Nice done, but the appartment was very very old. Nice service from staff and located perfect.
