This is Ibis is looks to me not older then 4 years. It's a Ibis and typically "what to expect". It's a Swiss ibis and therefore better quality then the old worn out French hotels. Nice people and clean.

We drove from Zurich to Ticino for friend's wedding. The hotel have limited parking lot but we end up to parked on the street and have to pay for it.The reception was friendly checked-in..lobby is small but cute..it is suit for the hotel. The room is simple no mini-bar( refrigerator). Just comfy bed ,TV( many TV channel) and nice shower...

For work I have stayed here two separate weeks in the past two months. The rooms are small and there is no gym, but the rooms are clean and staff is friendly helpful and speak many languages including English.
The hotel is new, the rooms are well cleaned and the bathroom is nice. it is the perfect location for a weekend if you just need a hotel and nothing fancy. the rooms are a bit small but you get all you need. also the breakfast is great..you get all you need for chf 15. it is not special but locarno is an expensive place. the staff is very friendly.
