Normal Swiss hotel, general amenities, nothing special
I stayed for two nights in this hotel. Everything was as expected from a European small-scale hotel. High quality bathroom and light fittings indicated that they pay attention to details. Room, bed and bathroom towels were very clean.
My room didn't have proper ventilation mechanism, so, I had to keep the windows slightly open to get fresh air. It also...

we stayed here returning from a long day in Zurich, not the best location but a good price considering the room interior and the service, perfect place for a businessman that can reach the Zug city center in 5 min drive, the breakfast was good and car park free.......the personnel was kind and englsh specking.....not obvious in these small villages....
The reviews of this hotel have been very generous. I read the text, which seems very negative, yet the review is scored as a 3 or 4. Odd...
Anyway, this is a hotel mired firmly in the 70s, with some odd hygene issues to make it more interesting.

Clean, but basic room, well out of town, so stuck in the hotel unless you use a taxi/car. Same price as other hotels in Zug without the location or the quality. Saving grace being the restaurant - absolutely delicious food in the evenings, breakfast fairly standard.
It's an upmarket 1970s travel lodge/motel. Rooms were clean and had been updated but the building and entrance and corridors are not enticing and there is only room service and restaurant meals available mon-fri. Not helpful for a sun-tues stay. luckily there is a handy shell garage next door for drinks and snacks. the bed was not that comfy and...

Some of the positives: 1) Short walk to the S-bahn train line between Cham and Zug provides easy access to Zug; 2) Free wi-fi with good signal strength; 3) Good breakfast; 4) Modern furnishings in rooms Negatives: 1) Restaurant closes early;...

Stayed at this hotel in June 2007. Good location on road into Zug from Zurich. Situated close to a petrol station and some offices / industrial buildings but not a problem.
Design wise a bit late 70s / early 80s but comfortable large rooms and well equipped. Very good breakfast spread in the morning and friendly really helpful staff on...
