Stayed at the Scheuble hotel for more than 4 months while working on a project in Zurich. The staff was friendly and the location is very near to many restaurants in the city center.

Rooms are spacious and clean and very centrally located in Zurich city. Convenient accessibility to the city tram and walking distance to the Main Train Station. Excellent hotel 10mins walk from the mainline station. Good modern design. Lovely tranquil terrace at the back which provided coolness from the sweltering weather we had. Really good breakfast - especially nice croissant and bread selection. I also really liked the bowls of mixed roses in the reception, etc

Excellent central location. Easy to reach by public transport. Close to Zurich's business center .Friendly staff. Rooms are a bit on the dark side and could benefit from a repaint, but if all you need is a bed, a bath, a TV and an acceptable rate in that expensive city, than the Scheuble is the right place. Apparently it's a common hotel practice in Switzerland not to have big beds, however, these guys managed to place a sponge between the two twin beds and problem solved.
