In the hotel dirt, bedbugs and stink. The mattress is too soft. The hotel has no luggage room. Do not leave bags at the reception. Belongings can be stolen.

The location is superb. The suites are kind of dingy but cheap and functional. Good place to crash and meet fellow tourists. Everyone I met was friendly, especially if you speak a little German.

Tiny rooms that smell like stale cigarette smoke. The floor of my room slanted at about 20 degrees toward the door. And slightly surly front desk staff. Not a great experience. Very good location, not far from the central station is the one strong point.

I was in Zurich for business for 2 nights. My room was OK, my colleagues’ room were much worse. It was clean and comfortable in an attic. The shower outside was horrible… It is manageable if you don’t want to spend much in a very expensive city!
