I always stay here on Business when in Zurich as it is very close to our office. It is not centrally located but the city is a short tram ride away, with the funiculaire stop being almost inside the hotel. The view is out of this world amazing. Even in snowing winter I always take a few minutes to stand...

I have been staying here for years as I travel in and out of Switzerland. This time I booked a superior double with kitchenette. I come for the view over Lake Zurich which relaxes me. However, on this trip my loyalty went unacknowledged as I was first given a room overlooking another building. When I said it would not do,...

The hotel is located on a hill overlooking Zurich. The views are spectacular from virtually every room. The hotel looks like it was poured in one block of concrete and looks more like monument. Attempts to juvenate with glass have resulted in a sterile look. The interior reminds me of the seventies, with colorful rugs and wall decorations. The service...

The strength of this hotel is the nice view from the rooms and it's breakfast with excellent coffee and wide-range of food. The rooms are very average but clean, and especially single rooms are very small. Staff is not very flexible, as I had to fight to get a coffee early morning (leaving to the airport) before the restaurant opened.
Pros:
- Great location, beautiful views over Zurich / the lake
- Very large room + balcony (it was a Superior room-- so while I know all of the rooms have balconies, I'm not sure how much smaller a Standard room would be)
- Nice indoor swimming pool + access to an outdoor pool (it is a good 15 minute...

I was there with my wife and it was just out of the world. The Zacussi at the SPA overlooking the whole city, the Modern upgraded rooms and public spaces, all were at par with any other best of the best hotels. The Breakfast service was a bit slow but over all the experience was par excellence. The Breakfast room...

A reasonably nice hotel. Great lake views.
The rooms are very dated, in this 80s pastels look, but clean, and the beds are ok.
The public areas are beautifully done.
Going into Zurich by public transport is not obvious, most people would take taxis but the hotel is next to the Dolder Bahn.
The restaurant is actually quite nice, with...

Stayed here for 3 nights during August 2010, with my husband and our 11 months old baby.
We booked a suite, which costed us no less than 500 Euros per night. And this did not include breakfast.
The suite had a large living room, a kitchenette, a bedroom, a medium-sized bathroom and two terraces.
The only thing really beautiful about...

Was booked in the Dolder Waldhaus by my company on business travel and do have to say, I will not return.
Arrived later in the evening, was already late for a Dinner and had to rush but unfortunately was put in a smoking room. Smelled this when I got in, had to go back to the reception downstairs and had...
