The hotel looked rather kitch from the outside, and being situated at a casino, I was unsure. However, the room was perfectly adequate for two people and the food served in their restaurant was great. The bed was very comfortable too! We enjoyed our night in Newcastle.
I stayed at the hotel for 1 night on a recent business trip. it offers all the basic ameneties offered by a 3 start hotel. clean, friendly staff and decent sized rooms. problem however is that at R1200 it is overpriced when comparing to other Garden Court hotels around South Africa.
This is the worst 4* hotel in the world!!! The speedpoints (credit cards) at the bar were not connected. Staff didn't know how to charge refreshments to our room.
