“Great stay in beautiful place”

Very friendly staff, great area and place to stay to visit museums in the area. Also for some sightseeing in this beautiful part of The Netherlands (we explored it by bicycle- it's quite hilly!), it is the right spot. Very quiet area, nice garden. Also the museum Burgers Zoo and great Openluchtmuseum are within close reach (even by bike). Definately... More

“Good Base For Arnhem Battlefields”

Located right in the heart of the Arnhem Battlefields, where 1st Airborne Division fought in September 1944 - best known from the film 'A Bridge Too Far'. The hotel was known as the 'White House' to the troops and was the scene of fierce fighting, and is the original building here in 1944. I was staying here with a friend... More

“Better options in the area”

Unfriendly, unwelcoming owner. Seems like it is a run as a business without interest as to the guests comfort. Rooms were OK. Overpriced for the area. Not much to say because not much pleasant experienced

In a quiet neighborhood, with pretty grounds, and very friendly staff. We only had breakfast, which was very nice. The building is older, so the rooms are not huge (and a little dated), and the bathroom was comically small, but I think they might be remodeling.
