OK, so this isn't a hotel, this seem to clash with some of the other reviewers comments. I wanted a cheapish place to stay overnight in Maastricht, something that was not a hostel and not a 4 star hotel, there is plenty of B&B in the town, but I selected De Hofnar because of how easy it is to book... We stayed in the hofnar for two nights and I didn't sleep one of them. The room was just too noisy and too small. The owner is very annoying, I would subcribe it as arrogant, not friendly at all. Do not expect any customer service and a great breakfast, cause you wouldn't find it here.

“wouldn't stay there again”

Not a very pleasant stay because much too expensive. We paid 82 euro for an extremely small room with no bath nor toilet en suite. There's no double glass so it's like sleeping on the street so clear are the noises from passers by, cyclists,cars and church bells early in the morning. The toilet was very small too but the... My brother and I stayed at De Hofnar for two nights in August. The house and the street it's on are charming. The bedroom and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. However, we really did not have a very enjoyable experience. The breakfast costs 5 Euro per person, and you can feed yourself better for less money in a nearby... More
