Overall, Hotel Blyss is not a very nice hotel. However, it is cheap and has free wifi, so that might balance it out. The hotel was well situated for our party. It was basic but comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. Most locations to see were within walking distance or a short taxi ride. The stairs inside were narrow and steep so not really suitable for people with a disability. Overall I would recommend this hotel for groups on a budget

The location of the hotel is great: close to the city centre, trams and other public transport. Staff is very friendly. The hotel has a very poor breakfast, the hotel rooms are noisy (lots of sounds from the corridor) and quite outdated.

The rooms are not very sound proof, people watching television in adjoining rooms could but easily heard. Neighbouring guests who smoked in the room could be smelled in other rooms, particularly the bathrooms, Air vents distributing the smoke smell. Staff were friendly and helpfull.

I stayed here with my wife and 2 year old daughter for 2 nights in the end of december. The hotel is situated in a very nice area next to Vondelpark and the busy and fun Overtoom. The room was big and clean and had a large flat screen tv. I would stay here again.
