For our first trip to Amsterdam, this was a good find. The location is very good - walking distance to the tram, bus and just around the corner from the Van Gogh Museum. Although our room was on the small side (not enough room to set up our suitcases), it was clean. The staff at the hotel was very helpful...

Used this hotel for a one night layover en route from UK to USA.
Much nicer then more central hotels we've used. Clean, friendly and our room (family room) was v. spacious. Only downside was that it was v. hot that night and hotel had no air conditioning.
Area is nice - mix of residential and tourist.

We stayed 2 nights : adults 2 childrens in a big rooms with 2 beds. We were one the basement with a door opening onto the Hotel's Garden. Marvellous.
The room was quiet , enough big for us.
The hotel location is good closed to Van Gogh Museum and to a tramway station. But also closed to the centrum by...

I felt very lucky with this hotel. My room was very large on the first floor with a balcony, Wifi was working, the location is wonderful. Taking the tram from the train station was a nice and short sightseeing tour in itself.
Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
I can't complain about anything although I understand there are...

This was a lovely hotel and such a refreshing change from the faceless bland 'chain' hotels. The family feel to it was very clear and we felt welcome.
It was such a surprise to be in a quiet leafy residential street yet just a few metres away from the main thoroughfares-the best of both worlds. I particularly wanted a hotel that...

We stayed for 3 nights in a family bedroom (#24) with 4 single beds we configured in a double and 2 singles. The room was of a good size with enough space for the 4 of us to feel comfy enough. The bathroom was a bit small, although functional enough and we didn't come to stay in it!
Everyone we...

I just want to start by saying that the staff were probably some of the best I have ever had in any country. They were extremely helpful and because the hotel was small they got to know you very well to make your stay unique. The location is in the fashion and museum district so very expensive and trendy therefore...

A friend and I stayed here on a weekend trip to Amsterdam. We'd originally booked a small twin room, but at check-in were offered the choice to upgrade to a larger room for a small extra charge which we did. Room was lovely and more than adequate for our needs (the smaller room would have been ok, but just nice...
