My 14 year old son and me stayed in this fine hotel for 4 nights. It's extraordinary because of its amazing design, the black bathroom cube in the middle of the 2-floor-room with the gallery above to sit and relaxe. You have to get used to the point, that you cannot close the bathroom door. The service was very good.... More

After arriving at the hotel I first noticed the 'trip advisor winner' board so for me expectations had to be high, saying that everything was very pleasant. I loved the lay out of the room better than your usual layout. There was a designs throughout the hotel and I would definitely be coming back when I'm back in Amsterdam. Thank... More

You picked up on the Design elements of the hotel and it is also for this reason we received the Tripadvisor Award (for Design Hotels) you are referring to. The Hotel is built in a 1890 Orphanage and the majority of the housing... More

Just came back from a two day vist to Amsterdam where I stayed here. The hotel it's self is simple yet elegant in its design as you can see from the photos, because it's simple designs you can see the rooms are clean as there is none of the odd corners of the room that are not accessible to clean... The hotel is located in a very nice area of Amsterdam, not far from the centre. It's near the 9 and 14 tram lines and the subway Weeserplein that take you easily into the centre and the major sights. . . The hotel was very trendy and stylish. The rooms are clean and very unique, there's a small living room... More

I count my 6-night stay at Hotel Arena as one of my holiday's successes: Not only were the accommodations clean and comfortable, but the staff members conducted themselves with poise and professionalism! While the hotel's location is a good walk outside center (don't try strolling from Centraal Train Station), it's located close to the 9 and 14 tram lines, which... More

Very trendy and stylish hotel. Lovely bedroom and bathroom - very unique. Bathroom was an all in one job with a massive bath and great shower next to it. Bed was soo comfy - gr8 night's sleep. TV was grand - hairdryer slightly gentle but fine for a weekend away. Food was excellent on our first night but not so... More
