David is a perfect host. Beautiful room and so clean like been home from home, better than any B&B i have stopped in before. Fantastic location right on the canal with great views,the breakfast box was superb and started us up for our days of sightseeing. A good B&B is definately the best way to stay in Amsterdam as accomodation is very expensive. Velvet Amsterdam did not disappoint. Parking is impossible in central Amsterdam and impossibly expensive. The hotel is in a fantastic situation for visiting all the major sites Amsterdam has to offer. Directions from David, the host were excellent and the welcome matched. No one could fault anything about the stay - the room, the breakfast, the greeting- all 4 star.

The room was very clean, spacious, modern, worth the price given that the location is good (very lively area). Convenient as it is near central station (good to travel fr Airport) and Dam square. There's also a TV & private ensuite. The host David definitely takes pride in his own place rather than just running it like a regular B&B.

That was unforgettable stay in the cosiest place! You can get everything you need for relaxing stay - stylish room, openhearted hospitality in the centre of Amsterdam. Thanks for that!
