Price very reasonable. Quality good. Location excellent. Good compromise.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, walking distance from the museums, the canals, the "Pijp" and theaters, yet in a quite street. It's a family-run hotel and it shows, people were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious, price was very good as well. We'll certainly come back to this hotel!

Stayed for a few nights. I don't suggest the single room on the first floor as it smelled like someone was smoking non-stop for weeks (non-smoking room...). You are also able to hear everything from the room next door because of the paper thin walls.

We just stayed 5 days at this hotel. It's near a tram line that has frequent trams running through it to and from the main centraal station. The room was small (as to be expected in Amsterdam) but was sufficient and clean. Wifi access was free but worked poorly, sometimes the network was not accessible at all. Therefore the hotel is not that well suited for business travellers who need to check e-mail. It was easy to reach the place by tram from the central train station.

We stayed for one night in this small and friendly hotel. Very good prices, friendly people, nice rooms. My recommendation.
