We were fortunate and had a room overlooking a canal on a quiet street in a central location. No elevator but "Peter" was more than willing to take our luggage to our room on the second floor. Nice cozy 2 bed room with lots of space to sit in front of full length windows overlooking the canal. Location was great...

We loved our stay in 't hotel. We are a family of 5 and had the room at the top with the loft bedroom reached by a ladder. The kids just loved it!! We didn't mind climbing the steep stairs all the time, it completely added to the charm (even though there was lots of huffing and puffing going on)!...

The staff in the hotel were most helpful. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Good buffet breakfast.
My husband is Dutch and we were visiting family who don't have guest space. So we knew which bits of Amsterdam we did and didn't want to be in.
It was a stroke of luck finding 't Hotel which is right in the lovely Jordaan area - has superb rooms overlooking the canal. Real family run place - we spent...

We have stayed in a canalview room and really loved it! The room wasspacious, with 03 (!) really big french windows overlooking the lovely and very romantic Leliegracht (a small canal street lit by amber lights at night). The bathroom was also good, breakfast inclued was quite neat and the staff was very caring and gentle. But most of all,...

The three of us had a lovely stay at the hotel. It was in a brilliant location with lots of bars and good restaurants in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpfully, helping us carry our cases up the steep stairs. The room we stayed in was very spacious and unusual in design which added to the Amsterdam experience....

The building and rooms were dated but clean. The staff were great and friendly. Great place to stay for an Amsterdam experience. Located downtown of the "red light district", close to everything. Morning Continental breakfast was amazing!
I've stayed at 't hotel (pronounced ut 'otel) just about once a year for the last six years while on business and pleasure trips to Amsterdam. It's pretty easy to fly through AMS on Delta and find a way to spend a few days, plus there have been several conferences in Amsterdam the past few years that I have attended....

I loved the location of the t'Hotel. The perfect distance away from the chaos, yet close enough to be in it when you wanted. It's a quaint canal house that gives you the feel of what living on a canal in Amsterdam is all about. Not too many rooms, good breakfast, I would go back and stay there again.
