I liked the hotel as soon as I got into it, but when I saw the room, I was thrilled. My room is called Von Goethe and just a beautiful, spacious bathroom. I was only three days and not enough. The bed is large and very comfortable. Receptionists very loving and kind. It's a little pricey, but worth it.

Wonderful, central small hotel with excellent, local, friendly, knowledgable staff. Rooms are spacious and perfect - breakfasts are superb served in your room or in the dining room. I can't speak highly enough of Seven One Seven. Highly recommended.

Amazing Hotel with unique exclusivity and high quality in the Historic 400 year old City Center Canal area of UNESCO World Heritage Amsterdam. The Staff is outstanding and warm, if ever a stay was more welcoming and exquisite is was at Seven One Seven.
