This was our second European hotel and we had a better idea what to expect. You have to buzz to get entry to the "lobby". It is a very small space. The elevator to the upper floors is tiny but functional. The staff (seemed like a mom and pop operation) was very friendly and accommodating. Our prepaid reservation was in... More

We arrived in the morning of Friday for a long weekend break. We guessed that we may have to wait for the room, but the receptionist said it was ready. Our front facing top floor room was a little small with a tiny bathroom. Had TV, Kettle and a fridge, but no safe. The safe was located at reception. The... More

Stayed here with friends in a triple room in November 2011. The location is great, 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Leidesplein area which is great for a few drinks in the various pubs and bars. It is about a 20 to 30 minute walk to the centre and the red light district etc, but hotels I have stayed... More

I booked this hotel in a hurry at booking.com at a very low price and I didn't expect much from it but I was really surprised upon arrival. The room is extremely small but there's still some place before bed. There's a tiny table with a small electric kettle, tea bags and welcome apples, two chairs and a wardrobe. The... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights last weekend and I cannot fault this place! The family who run this are so charming, helpful and really care about their clientele, which I don't think you get very often with the big corporate run hotel chains... Although the room was a little on the small side, it was clean and... More

From the outside and reception area, we were a bit dubious, but the room was super clean and although small, quite comfortable. It was obviously newly decorated, and the bathroom was spotless. Quite a good location too, only a short walk from the Liedesplein, where there are lots of bars, shops, cafes etc, along with the Boom Chicago Comedy Club... More

We arrived here for two days. Loved this small, friendly hotel we were doing it on a budget and this place proved to be just the job. Trams are the easiest way to get about the city and theres stops outside. The room was fine, clean cool and comfortable. The buffet in the morning was good the bacon is hard... More

Close to Leidseplein, wide range of choices for restaurants and night life. Quiet and safe 10 minutes walking to Leidseplein. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had good rest. We were there 4 days in October 2011, was the last 2nd stop of our honeymoon. We were happy to stay there and didn't ruin our vacation mood at all... More
