This place is a bit out of the way of everything that you want to do. Luckily there is a tram stop about 10feet from the enterance but it is a bit of a hastle. The place itself is nice and pretty clean. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. We had to cancel 2 of our days last... More

We stayed in one of the 10-bed dorms for two nights at the end of our trip to Europe. For 10euros/bed our expectations weren't high, but it wasn't too bad after all. If anything, smelly and lazy young "job-hunters" (read weed smokers) were more of an annoyance than the hostel itself. For this price I would stay here again.

This was the last stop on myself and my boyfriends month long interrail trip, and after some of the terrible hostels we stayed in this was a nice surprise. We stayed in a double room (with bunk beds unfortunately) which was well equipped. The room had satellite television, a shared balcony and an "en suite bathroom." The bathroom was the... More

We were a group of four people so we booked a room for 4 with private bathroom. The first night we were in something that can't be really called a room. I think it was smaller than imagination can think, 2 bunk beds one almost over the other one and the room was over. Then there was a little bathroom.... More

What an awful hotel owner, he talked absolute rubbish when he said we were emailed two weeks ago about our booking being cancelled.... Well we received no such email! After of of my friends being pretty upset about it we asked him to sort it out for us but he told us it wasn't his problem.... So if it wasn't... More

On arrival to the hotel my friends and I were informed (after half an hour of waiting in a very tiny room) that our rooms had been cancelled and that we had been emailed 2 weeks prier to traveling, we had not. The man on the door was extremely rude, inappropriate and aggressive and after talking to him for 2... More

had a good time in amsterdam with some friends the hotel was not very close by the city centre but a taxi or tram are good options for this problem. we had some problems in the park with another group what ended up in a fight. i thought the park was very unsafe to be in, in the night. expeccially... You have to be quite fit to stay in this hotel, as we had to climb four very steep flights of stairs to our room (which was right at the top) so it wouldn't do for anyone even slightly infirm. Apart from that, the room, although small, was quite comfortable, well-appointed and reasonably quiet. The proprietor was very helpful and... More
