We stayed at the Hotel City Garden for one night whilst on a mini cruise break. We were on the 3rd floor (room 328 I think), we looked over the back of the property towards the park. I would not recommend this hotel it does not worth the money. there are lots of noise and you can not get a decent night sleep there is not even a shampoo or soap in the bath the tovels look dirty the lift was a pain and not working most of the time

We stayed there 2 nights. Excellent location, Just +- 15 minutes by tram from Both Central and Amstel stations. Close by many restaurants and bar's. Museum and Garden 5 minutes walk. Thanks to a 2 night stay in this hotel, particularly room 254 I came home covered in flea bites. After a visit to the doctor I warned the hotel but they were not interested in my experiences. For breakfast I saw a dog walking around in the kitchen from a staff member. Breakfast was probably also very hygienic

Great price, good location, bad service + not clean enough! bed clothing of two small double bedrooms we shared was not clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the overall look of the room is not neat enough... We got what we paid for!
