The location is great. Our room in neighboring building, Hotel Schagen, was clean and warm. Shower & toilet was down a very short hall. The Old Nickel is similar to other budget pub hotels and hostels that my husband and I have stayed at. Breakfast is plain but good. Staff was very nice.

was at this hotel recently and was shocked when informed on arrival that you had to be in the hotel by 2-3 am or you would be locked out. bar tender also very grumpy and not very helpfull
