Not bad at all for the price. Could be cleaner. Towels were torn and bed sheets had stains. Staff were very friendly and the location is perfect. Tram noise from outside was my real issue with this hotel.

This is a quaint hotel located in a typical Amsterdam building - steep and narrow staircases and a claustrophobic elevator. The room had a good size and was clean.The bathroom was modern but would benefit from some TLC (fittings loose etc). When we pointed out that the button to turn on the shower was missing, we got a shrug of the shoulders and were told to use our fingernails to grab it. A report of a fire hazard hair dryer got a similar indifferent response. This is not a hotel you go back to at night to relax before bed.

The room was small and llighting was not good. The bathroom was modern but small. The shower did not drain well. Location was good. Transportation was excellent. The tram stopped right in front of the hotel and came frequently.
