I think both of those reviews were terribly wrong! This hostel was so much fun to stay in! The beds were comfortable, you get free wifi and a great breakfast, and youre staying on a freaking boat in Amsterdam! What more could you ask for?! Dont let the industrial park scare you..it is next door to a really nice cafe,... More

Just to provide some balance here, I stayed here in the summer of 2006, and it was awesome. Granted, the boat was a little out of the way, (you have to take a ferry there, from the train station) but it was worth it. Do Not Stay At This Hostel If You Value Your Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It should be condemned! Please take this seriously and read the reviews that are available on the web. This ship has no running toilet, no locking doors and smashed winows and doors. The ship is in the middle of an inustrial area that is not easily accessed by transport.... More
