We stayed for 2 nights and found the staff and owners to be very warm and welcoming and oh so helpful. Our luggage didn't make it onto our flight and the staff stayed after hours to wait for it to be delivered. The hotel is very quaint and unique. If you like boutique hotels with a personal touch you will... More

The Brussels Welcome Hotel is a nice place. It is nothing super fancy. The themed rooms are fun. We stayed in "Kenya." The breakfast is pretty nice, but not great. Everything seemed really clean. This is a good hotel for the cost and I would stay here again. It is not a high-end hotel nor does it claim to be.... More

I admit, when the taxi stops outside the place it doesn't look that promising, unless you're hoping for a drug deal or a girl for the night. Except the square is full of very expensive (and extremely over-priced and over-rated seafood restaurants.) But the staff are very friendly and once you've found your way up the narrow stairs to the... More

We just spent a week in the Congo room at the Hotel Welcome. I don't think there is a better hotel in the city of Brussels. Staying off the main street in St. Catherine square is perfect location, only minutes to the Grand Plaza but so quiet at night. The room is very comfortable and getting to spend time in... More

My husband and I stayed at the Welcome Hotel for two nights in August of 2012 during a short trip to Brussels. While this hotel was nothing fancy, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay somewhere memorable for a decent price. The hotel is located in Brussels' Place Sainte Catherine, the former fish mongering district turned into... More

Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. To sum up: great location, friendly and helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, good breakfast, and the room was fun, clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!

So, if you're going to Brussels on a city break (quite unusual...), this is perfect. Even for business, it's close enough to the main stations and the EC area. I personally love the Sainte Catherine area, can't get any better in Brussels. The hotel is comfortable, service is great, but you must be prepared for the room decor, as they... More

Welcome Hotel, although not big on luxury, has character in spades. It is charming, quirky and quite unique and if you stay here you're guaranteed to remember it! All of the items in the themed rooms were collected on the owner's trips abroad and the attention that he lavished on the place is very evident, it's like staying inside someone's... More
