My wife, daughter and I stayed in IBIS near St.Baaf Cathedral in Central Ghent for 6 days last month (April 2013). This hotel is very centrally located and easily accessible by tram, bus, etc. from the main railway station in Ghent. It has a nice ambiance and the breakfast was sumptuous. We enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed here for 3 nights in April and I would definitely recommend it. The location couldn't be better, it's very central and a great base for exploring Ghent. Our room was small but very comfortable and it was wonderful to hear the cathedral bells in the morning! I would stay here again no problem.

The absolute best thing about this hotel is it's location. Add to this the parking (which in Ghent an prove a problem) and you have the makings of a great hotel.
