hotel is at the quite good location. The rooms are quite small without the storage facilities. Bathrooms door was only sliding and there was no privacy. The service was not very nice. We were not very satisfied.

This is the second time staying at this hotel- the first time was before the renovations. The Red Rose Cafe is a nice addition and is a great place to end your evening. Stayed two nights, great ambiance, loved the four beer sampler combined with a cheese, olives and sun dried tomatoes at the Red Rose, friendly staff and a cosy bar feeling. This hotel is in a great hotel and the rooms have been recently renovated. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke perfect English. The Breakfast was quite good too. We stayed on the ground floor in a 3 bedded room. Only negative was the room had a curtain on the bathroom instead of a door.

Great hotel with no surprises; tiny bathroom but that is expected in Europe for the price. A very nice breakfast (in the adjacent Rose Cafe) is included. We received a 5% discount on the entire hotel bill by showing the Rick Steves Amsterdam/Bruges book and paying in cash.
