The building is very nice. Its a nice example of old traditional architecture. its in the core of the city center The price is very good acording to the quality of the rooms and service. Also the breakfast included is very good with plenty of different food. The ratio quality-price is definetly very good. Im very happy to have choosen... More

Great location, great staff, cool old building, hearty breakfast, superb value. It is pretty rustic, so if you want the Holiday Inn, Evora has one. Since you go to Evora for the history and good food, why not stay in a place that is a part of that tradition? The bed wasn't the best, but the room was clean. The... More

We stayed in a triple room at Pensao Residencial Policarpo for two nights in April 2013. The building is very well located, within a 5 minute walk of the cathedral and a 15 minute walk the main square. There is a very small parking area attached to the hotel which is locked in the evenings. Please bear in mind that... More

Very neat and tidy room with good internet access in the common area. The private bath was a bit tight and a step up but more than adequate for our needs. They also offer a nice breakfast. With the narrow cobbled streets of this old walled city, free parking in a secured courtyard at the rear of the building ws... More

This is a great pension. As per the previous comments regarding various levels and types of accommodations, our room was perfect. Spacious with a very comfortable bed large windows private bath and in the center of Evora. You cannot ask for more. The staff is eager to assist you regarding restaurant recommendations and they are multi lingual. The building does... More

We just loved this place! It is a beguiling, charming pensione in a very old building which has been adapted for use as a pensione and with a wonderful atmosphere. The house rambles over various levels and offers three types of accommodation a) bedrooms with en-suite b) bedrooms with private shower but shared toilet facilities c) Rooms with shared bathrooms... A very central 16th century villa with excellent staff, easy access to everything, very good value. We hired bikes and cycled the old railway line to Arrialos. There is no air conditioning but we never had a problem and the bathrooms are mostly shared and small - they have put such facilities in without altering the structure of the building.... More

While the location of the pension is excellent and the staff are friendly/helpful, there should be some mention of the fact that not all rooms are equal. The room I was shown for the first night of a three night stay was really unacceptable. It was dark, dingy, at the end of the hall (furthest away from the bathrooms) and... More

This pensao is very well located in the centre of Evora. The car parking is also very convenient. If you want working WIFi in your room, make sure you request it in advance as it is not generally available throughout the building - it can only be used in your room if you are close enough to the two reception...
