Second time at the hotel Velamar. Great little hotel, so clean. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is plentifull, with fresh fruit, meats, cheese, bakery items etc. etc. Would recommend to all and will be back again.

Nothing to complain about here. The pool was a bit cold. The location was too far from Albufeira for a walk, but we had a car. I recommend others to choose a car too. They have great offers at the airport

My husband and I stayed here from 17 - 24 April. It was our first time in Portugal and we loved it. The Hotel was imazing , the people very friendly and Portugal very cheap. We loved it that much that we have booked to go back again in September this year to the same Hotel. Would really recommend.

Very pleasant staff and the standard of cleanliness cannot be faulted. Rooms serviced on a daily basis with towels and bedding regularly changed. Just got back from a stay at this hotel and the service of the reception staff was the best, nothing was too much trouble for them. Perfect location, breakfast and fantastic value for money. IWe will be returning to this hotel later in the year.

We stayed at the Velamar for the 3rd year in a row in the first week of May and nothing has changed. It is still as good as the 2 previous years we have stayed and most of the staff are the same, which says a lot in the hotel industry where staff generally move around frequently. I don't think... I stayed at this hotel during may 2012. Good breakfast. Very quiet area. The rooms were clean, not 5* but I thought it was great for what we paid. Booked extra night in hotel because we were happy with the hotel. It is about a 5 to 10 minute drive from albufeira beaches, restaurants etc. Staff were polite and helpful.... More
