Just had one night here and it was a great place to stay. 15 minute walk from the bus terminal, streets not quite as on google maps (or maybe it's me!) but with a bit of following our noses we found it no trouble. Warm welcome, clean rooms (there are seven in the house), shared kitchen, free wifi, good price,... More

After three months of traveling this is the best place my wife and I have stayed. The rooms are very clean, we had a big bed, decent bathroom and a brilliant balcony with a great view. There was a nice kitchen with fridge space provided, and a communal computer that was free to use. The owner was an elderly woman... More

My boyfriend and I ended up in Lagos unexpectedly, and all of the hotels were full. We saw a sign for Casa Sousa. When an elderly woman in a very nice house answered, we felt that we had lucked out. The quarters themselves, shown to us by her awkward son a few hundred meters down the street, however, did not... More

My husband and I stayed at Casa Sousa for 2 nights. The owner is an elderly woman who is very kind and welcoming. We had a double room with a full closet, bathroom, and small balcony. The rooms were simply decorated, as in the pictures. (The room also had a TV.) We also had access to a full kitchen with... More

We stayed here for a week on our trip to Lagos. The hotel/ hostel is in an ideal location, seconds away from the Town Centre and a short walk from the Town's beaches. We had a private double which was clean and spacious and the hotel proprietor (a lovely portugese lady, always happy to see you!) changed us over to... More

I decided to write this review, even though I stayed here almost 2 years ago, because it was the BEST hostel we stayed at on our backpacking trip through Europe. "Nana" is so sweet, her rooms are awesome, there are back dorms where you walk out onto a cute little terrace, you have free range of the kitchen & its... More

On arriving we were greeted by a lovely elderly Portuguese lady, very friendly and welcoming despite having very little English we communicated quite well in a mix os sign language Spanish and English!. You have to pay the balance of your room in cash when you arrive as none of the Lagos Hostels I've ever been to have any card... More

Clean, simple rooms and bathrooms. Just a short walk into the centre of town (less than 5mins) and only slightly longer to the beach. The little old ladies that run it were fantastic - even when a couple of us got arrested and the police rolled up to the door at 5am to collect our passports, they still treated us... More
