Stayed in Marina Rio for 7 days. Location is perfect. Train station is just in 5 minutes walking from the hotel, 10 minutes walking from the city center. There are 2 famous beaches and hotel offers a free transfer. Breakfast is good, everyday something new is offered. Pool on the roof is small but warm. If you are hungry but... More

Following two weeks in Spain, we stayed at this hotel for four nights to rest, relax, and enjoy the Algarve. When we checked in on April 29 about noon, a very pleasant young man at the front desk greeted us. We paid a bit extra for a room facing the harbor with a small balcony equipped with a small table,... More

A really great B & B hotel. We booked a marine view room which is what we got - suited us, sunny in the morning but shady in the afternoon when the sun is strongest. Room was well appointed with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities - very useful. Bathroom consisted of a bath with shower over, bidet and toilet. complimentary... More

We stayed 3 nights at Marina Rio. The desk clerks all spoke English and were very helpful. There are not many doble bed rooms but we were fortunate to have one overlooking the marina and we had a noce balcony as well. There is a small business centre with computer and the lobby with WiFi is very comfortable. There is... More

I went to this hotel for one night after leaving a holiday farm where I had a shocking experience. As a result I was quite upset when I arrived, but the lady on reception was so calm, kind and helpful towards me, she really saved me that evening! After checking in, she helped me find out how much a taxi... More

This is a nice hotel just outside the touristy center of town so you can get a little away from everything. The location was great for visiting the marina and the expansive beach beyond it as well. The rooftop pool and sundeck with the marina view were big sellers for us, although the weather didn't cooperate - too windy! I... More

The hotel has a truly great location near the city center and the marina. Cozy interior of the hotel, and good size rooms with water boiler, bathrob and balcony, but unfortunately no wi-fi in the room. You may select rooms toward the bus station or the marina. The marina side is probably best in winter and could become noisy in... More

We love Lagos - it has a great choice of things to enjoy - including a choice of stunning sandy bay or rocky cove beaches. The town is so pretty; lively with great bars, shopping and restaurants, but mostly low-rise and not over-commercialised. Strangely there are not many hotels in the centre, despite the growing size of the resort. The... More

Ok this hotel is not new and the decoration looks more like hotels of the 80's. Service: reception could me more polite and quicker when you ask them something. The swimming pool located on the roof to is nice Room: old but clean and spacious with a balcony and a great marina view f&B: Breakfast was poor and the choice... More

We stayed in a Marina view room and found it excellent. It was quite a good size and had a balcony overlooking the marina. The hotel is in an excellent location being just across the road from the marina and just a short walk to the town. We used the car park at the hotel and although it was a... More
