I was overwhelmed by the beauty of Sao Miguel! The hotel was fine by every measure....clean, good food, VERY pleasant employees, comfortable beds, and a gorgeous setting. I could return again and again to this beautiful and restful place.

What more can I say than Burkemama...I have stayed at Caloura Hotel on several occasions and have always had my expectations exceeded. Aside from the tremendous natural beauty of the property, the resort itself is quite beautiful. The cleanliness, service and staff are impeccable. I highly recommend this superb four star hotel.

We had high expectations for our honeymoon but Caloura delivered even better. We love the hotel and the surroundings. Especially the possibility to swim in the Atlantic ocean, and the ocean view from all rooms. The hotel is obvious fantastic and were our 2. stay there. The island is worth many visits. Either by bus or car. We'll be back next year.
