The hotel has a very good location, but the walls are very thin and we could hear the neighbours snore, chat, walk - combined with very lumpy pillows and noisy A/C, this lead to very poor sleep for us both. This is a city hotel. it's location is excellent near Portas da Cidade and the city main church. There are several restaurantes nearby, and if you walk about 8 minutes you will be in the marina where you have restaurants and bars and a souvenir shop. The room and the bathroom are clean, but the room doesn't have a view.... More

The hotel is pretty standard and offers good value. Rooms were large enough, clean and the staff very helpful. Location was less than 10 minutes to the water and close to several restaurants. Not a bad option but don't expect any views. I would also rcommend staying at the back of the hotel to avoid street noise.

Nice hotel I stayed in for 4 nights during a hiking trip. Eventhough it's apparently rated at 3 stars, It comes quite close to a 4 star hotel. It seems to have been refurbished recently, the rooms are nicely furnished, and it comes with a nice bathroom. The promenade is only a few minutes walking from the hotel.
