Somewhat worn towels is the single complaint I've seen about Vila Gale Cascais, and yes, ours looked as if they'd been around awhile - but, who cares? We didn't. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this excellently staffed and comfortable hotel. Location is ideal, and I'd highly recommend staying in Cascais rather than Lisbon.

If you use Vila Gale like a serviced apartment then you won't go far wrong.I e mailed ahead to check we would have a travel cot but with no response both times.
