It was a decent stay last week at Quinta damarinha resort. It dont have a beach connection but a great golf field. Nice whether of protugal and good service..Amenities are a bit concern for me..

Very comfortable room with balcony overlooking trees with golf course glimpsed beyond meant birdsong every day on pulling back the sliding door. Otherwise totally peaceful at night with black out curtains so we had a good's nights sleep. Good bathroom with marble washbasin and L'Occitaine products. I have rated the hotel as good only as it does tend to over expensive when it doesnt need to be .. For instance a cheese sandwich on room service is 14.50 euro ... Acres and acres of greenery, chirping birds to give you company on morning walks, smiling and unobtrusive hotel staff, a small gym with spa and swimming pool and an 18 hole golf course - If that is your idea of relaxation, you have found the ideal place in Cascais.. Spent a long weekend here in February and got really great weather. The golf course was good but a little quirky and quite tough in the breeze. The hotel was really lovely but we had upgraded to a Junior suite! It was fairly pricey certainly not the bargain I expected to get in Portugal at these times!

Nice hotel/resort outside Cascais. Hotel provides shuttle to Cascais centre twice daily (10 minutes drive), but no problems ordering taxi at other times (EUR 4,5-6 one way).
