Alface hostel is a great place for everyone who wants to be right in the center of the action, in this case, Bairro Alto. Other than it’s excellent location (metro station Baixa-Chiado), it’s also very comfortable, and very good value for money. Free wi-fi is provided and there are some pc’s available.

Am in the middle of a four night stay at the Alface hostel and so far it is really good. The location is excellent, putting you right in the middle of the action with bars, nightlife, restaurant and shopping all at your doorstep. Friendly, clean, big sittingroom and kitchen where you can cook. Nice stuff. For 5 € exrta i was allowed to have a room for myself in November 2009. The hostel looks from outside not that great but from the inside it is really nice. Keep it up!

Excellent situation, close to central district, restaurants, shopping. People very friendly, accomodating, and helpful.
