In March we stayed a weekend (2 nights) in this Pousada and it is like sleeping in a castle. The 5th floor is beautiful with all its art and gigantic saloons. Most bedrooms have a beautiful view over the city. Since this year Guimarães is the capital of culture. The city was alive with lots of animation.

The place was awesome. The rooms and the building itslef have lots of caracther. Worth the visit, also just to drink something.

As a family we visited Guimaraes and stayed at this most interesting Pousada of years gone by. Historically impressive with spectacular views of the city below, as the Pousada sits atop on the hill. The hotel staff was impeccable and eager to please.
