The Villa Hotel is located on a wide, busy street within easy walking of the city's historical centre - now a World Heritage Site. I wasn't won over by the glassy exterior but the interior is modern and spacious, with marble floors and wood-finish walls around an open atrium. Very well located, within walking distance to the historical centre of Guimarães (5 m walk). Nice and modern design and decoration, good size rooms. Good breakfast, friendly staff, free wi-fi. Own free parking.
