Superb hotel with excellent,friendly staff in every department. Our upgraded room on the 12th. floor had excellent views of the lovely city and the Atlantic. Although in the business area, taxis charged only 5 Euros and the was a bus stop outside. Would thoroughly recommend for either business or holiday stays.

Great hotel. Lovely room. Great service and food in both the bar and restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were warm and helpful. Free wifi throughout the hotel, not just in the lobby, for our conference group, which is really important when you're a long way from home! Thoroughly recommended.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our five weeks of touring in Europe. The location is not particularly convenient but as we had our own transport, that was not an issue. I can't add much to the other complementary reviews already posted other than nod in agreement.

I endorse everything complimentary that has been written in other reviews of this hotel. It is always a pleasure to stay here. Highlights are the food in the restaurant - which benefits from a highly talented and creative chef, the comfortable environment and friendliness of the staff.

Maybe not the most modern looking hotel but really comfortable and the satff are excellent. Location is 10 mins in a cab to centre but the cabs in Porto are plentiful and very cheap, around 5 euros. They arranged a superb free tour of Churchills Port house. Porto is beautiful, a really nice surpise.

We were only here for one night so the distance out from the main Porto area wasn't that much of an issue.
