For a city campsite, Camping Athens is very convenient with good transport links to the city, high levels of cleanliness and very helpful staff. However, it is situated next to a three lane motorway which makes it incredibly noisy and difficult to sleep. My advice is, perfect for budget accommodation but pack the ear plugs!
