Room was huge and nice, service personal, cozy and just perfect. Breakfast was good, could have been better. although the marmolades done by the owner of the hotel and the croissant were delicious. Some feedback? The air extractor in the bathroom to noisy. the bathtub to small.

There are many hotels and resturants in Greece that rely on the astonishing assets mother nature and/or history has given them and offer little else to the traveller. Villa Andromeda, however, takes it's history, it's art, it's position by the sea, it's aesthetic advantages and adds a hospitality and a friendliness and a warmth that I've rarely encountered. Actually I've... More

My new wife and I stayed here for five days on our honeymoon and just fell in love with the town, the hotel and the special people who run this place. Athena, Barbara and Irini were all so nice and accomodating. You need a car, just ask. They'll have it delivered. You need a reservation for a restaurant or spa,... More

One would be hard pressed to find an accommodation like this one which in a prior incarnation had been the German Consulate. This is no "hotel." Instead, one is transported into a luxurious world of refined elegance and extremely tasteful duplex apartments. The balcony view from where your excellent breakfast is served is what one dreams about when on an... More

Spent four wonderful days with Athena and Barbara at the beautiful Villa Andromeda, who made us feel like family. We were two families with Tweens and had the two ground-floor suites that gave us immediate access to the beautiful grounds and large, very clean pool. It felt like our own private mansion in Chania. Each day, Athena and Barbara helped... More

My partner and I spent the first four days of our honeymoon at Villa Andromeda and were really pleased with our choice. We were warmly welcomed by Barbara who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She helped select the best restaurants from our Lonely Planet and was a wonderful host - interested and never over-bearing. The owner Athena was... More

Villa Andromeda is an absolutely divine place to stay! We stayed there for 6 nights as part of our honeymoon. Having just eight spacious suites, it makes the ideal place to escape for a romantic get-away. The villa is around a ten minute walk from the lively harbour which has lots of great bars and restaurants so is situated in... More

They try to make this a nice place but it just doesn't cut it. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk down the main road from the market. It was difficult to find the parking and entrance as it is a few streets past the hotel entrance. The rooms are more like apartments, with a living room and bedroom.... More

We had taken the noontime bus from Heraklion to Chania on June 28. After some taxi snafus, we finally arrived at the Villa Andromeda, where Barbara greeted us warmly! She showed us to our suite (#8, on the right side immediately after the winding marble staircase)--simply the nicest, with the most immaculate housekeeping, we had in all of Greece! The... More

My wife and I arrived in Heraklion by ferry and after a 2 hour drive to Chania we were greeted by the hotel manager Athena. The hotel itself is stunning, a beautiful building with large rooms and a great view from the balcony out to the sea. The pool area is also a big plus in Chania, as few central... More
