The Belmondo hotel was a fantastic little hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect in the heart of the pedestrian area of Chania (this would however be helpful to know when trying to find the hotel and drop off luggage). Situated on a side street, one block away from the Venitian port. Great location. Staff is very attentive and warm. Rooms are very clean and with a lot of character. I highly recommend it. Feels like home. Lovely, lovely experience.

We stayed here for four nights. We had the belle époque room with a harbor view. Eleni and Maria were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We did not want to leave. The breakfasts on the balcony were very special. Can't wait to return.

Don´t think about it.It is THE BEST hotel in Chania. As charming as Palazzo, slightly cheaper, and romantic as heck. Right in the middle of downtown, near Starbucks by the Piazza. The views to the harbour are breathtaking, and the beds make you feel like a Venetian prince. Did I mention the breakfasts? Uufff... impressive, massive, with gusto.

Admittedly we stayed in the nicest room, "Venecia", with a great double door balcony overlooking the harbor, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. One comment though, they serve the same breakfast every day. By the third day we would have liked a little variety.
