We stayed in both executive suite and junior suite. Both rooms had beautiful views. Service and food were great. Hotel staff were very helpful directing us around the city and to the south coast of Crete by rental car. Excellent value. Also check into the Romantic Package.

Heraklion is probably not a place to spend much time in, but our two night stay at Lato Hotel was very good. It was quiet even though it was right by the port and bus station, which is its best advantage for travelers in transit. We stayed in the new building, which was quite omfortable and very modern.

It as clean, nice hotel with quirky interior design which is perfectly followed through throughout the hotel. I stayed here for three nights while I was in Crete. It was cute, comfortable, and in a great location near the center of the city. If you stay, definitely eat at the restaurant one night. We had delicious lobster raviolis and a great bottle of Greek wine.
