The hotel is a converted palace and enjoys on one side amazing views of the Venetian fortress and the old British parade grounds.  But it is in new of a face lift. Breakfast was just adequate and the staff acted like they had never hosted a tour group before. Total chaos with coffee impossible to get to because one pot... More

The Hotel Cavalieri was a pretty nice place, overall. We had a great view of the Ionian Sea, a nice room, attentive and helpful staff, and a wonderfully charming rooftop restaurant/lounge from which we could see the lighted cross atop the Old Fortress at night. The food was pretty good; the charmer was our waiter, "Tijuana". We never got his... More

This lovely old hotel on the waterfront down the end of town furthest from the ferry terminal is well located and very comfortable. There seem to be some lovely sea-facing rooms with balconies which would be more expensive, but we had a laneway-facing room near the front of the hotel which had a nice sea view for about 130 euros.... Stayed here end of September for a couple of nights with friends. Room was clean and spaceous. Hotel well situated just a couple of minutes walk from the main area of the town. Would certainly stay here again

The hotel is perfectly located on the Spinanda in the Old Town. It is an easy walk along the waterfront to the harbour, the Old Fort is just a stone's throw away and the waterfront along the Bay of Garitsa starts pretty much at the hotel's entrance. The hotel itself is charming and nicely refurbished. WiFi is free and fast.

This hotel was recommended to us by our yacht charter company but we were a little hesitant about booking because of a few negative reviews on Trip Advisor. We did eventually book and our stay there was one of the highlights of our round-the-world trip. Historic building tastefully renovated, great position opposite the park and between the fascinating Old Town... More

This is a special place on a lovely island. We had room 42 which had a small balcony with a large, magnificent view. They do have an elevator. The room was rather large. The bathroom was a good size with a bathtub with a hand held shower. There was free wifi. There was a great rooftop restaurant that was perfect... More

Spent 4 days in this comfortable Venetian style slightly old world hotel. lovely rooms with high ceilings so nice and cool, shutters to keep out the light, comfy beds, good lighting to read by, beautiful marble staircase, very nice breakfast, and roof terrace restaurant with an incredible view day and night. Highly recommended.

The bad service is the real problem according to my opinion. The old man at the entrance of the Bar-Restaurant which is on the terrace did not allow us to sit and have a drink. He made a sarcastic personal comment and treated us as if he were obliged to him by letting us have a drink at the Bar.... More

Spending some days in Corfu we decided to have dinner at the roof of the Cavalieri hotel! Very convenient as they serve food until 1 am. The view is the most spectacular and breathtaking view! We had pasta, wine and some starters. The prices are fair for what they provide you with. The people working at the restaurant very very... More
