Situated in the center and with excellent communications, Egnatia Palace offered solid service, nice (recently refurbished?) rooms, excellent spa and gym facilities and a decent breakfast. And to boot, excellent deals!

Location is just 50 meters from Aristotelous street and square which gives lots of opportunities to both explore downtown historical sites and for great shopping.
