Five star hotel is it really a 5*. Located in a district (not very nice) far from city center, but bus station was almost in front of the hotel. Stuff of the hotel were very friendly and helpfull. From outside the building is very impressive and the same is true about the lobby. However the room was below avg and... More

I stayed at this Hotel during a Congress in town. Also my company organized a meeting in the meeting rooms of the hotel. I was very impress of the infrastructure of the venue and I didnt believe that I could see a place like that in Greece. Av equipment was state of the art , food was excellent and staff... More

For me the Hotel is spotless all because of the lovely people that work there. Where ever I went , reception, restaurant , bar , housekeeping all had a nice and true smile at their faces. For me the people are more important than walls or buffets or wifi.

Not what one would expect from a 5* hotel, maybe analogue to a good 4*. Located a bit outside of the city center in a dirty and noisy district with a good bus connection to the center, though. Very nice building, the rooms are clean and the room service is perfectly reliable. SPA is free of charge (haven't checked this... More

We stayed in grand hotel palace for 10 days and each day was excellent. We wanted a hotel for our round trip in Thessaloniki and this was the best one to move around, as it's location is so handie that you are one breath away from the city center and thessaloniki's hot spots. The thing that impressed me the most... More

the hotel is fine but not a 5 stars. good breakfast with enough choice and smart staff. The furniture are poor and the bathroom equipment seems the ones you may buy in a chinese shop. Please consider replace with more appropriate (at least to allow the clients to have a shower without problems). N.B. I'm in that hotel quite often... More

Maybe the worst location in the town, poor bathroom amenities, filter coffee from machine, and terrible blankets! (which 5star hotel use blankets?)

Definitely not a 5* hotel. The sink was leaking and wasn't fixed, the furniture wasn't in good shape, tv had poor picture. Shabby 3* hotel trying to look like its something else. You can put carpets and expensive-looking furniture, but it doesn't make a 5* hotel. Breakfast wasn't that good. And the hotel is located on the outskirts of Thessaloniki,... More

it was the first time staying at this hotel and i was surprised by it's hospitality. i'm travelling a lot and have experienced bad stays. I would suggest that for a conference( i have been there for a conf), meeting or even a relaxed weekend( food is delicious).

Visited Grand Palace with our 2 young girls aged 2 and 4. The hotel was very crowded at the time of our stay as they had a chess tournament, but that was not our problem. The room was pretty small to fit a family, and the bathroom could do with a renovation as there was no way we could get... More
