The hotel is located very central. The room was clean and quite large, but the furniture was more than classic (you should read old) and minimal. The paintings on the walls and ceiling were of bad taste. I liked the fact that we had free wireless in our room, the staff was friendly too! Breakfast was reduced to minimum (quite... More

The hotel is in an old building (art-deco), right at the edge of the city center; this makes it possible to find some parking space (more in the center you will have to use a private parking). It is clean, the rooms are prety ok (with and ad-after bathroom). I think it needs a little upgrade or reconditioning (doors, radiators,... More

-walking distance to all attractions, seafront, cafe, shopping, market, train station. -informative staff, some of whom gave wrong information though. -clean room, great room service. cleaning lady was very attentive to detail. -great value. breakfast was not worth it though. nice bed covering and beautiful ceiling. -felt safe as a solo traveller here -fridge was a plus -free computer with... Very clean and fairly quiet despite the central location near the city's main road. Staff is helpful. Room has standard equipment but nothing great. Utilitarian and works for the undemanding business traveler. Big bummer: Internet didn't work for 2 out of 3 days although that was apparently due to the storm.

We stayed on the second floor for one night - myself and two teenagers, in a triple room. The room was clean but smelled of mold. The bathroom was an afterthought in this room: it was an add-on closet with every appliance on top of each other. The shower was really just a square area with a faucet, so if... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in November. This hotel is in a charming, slightly dilapidated art deco building. As other reviewers have noted, it's in a fairly business-oriented part of Thessaloniki, but the whole city is very walkable; by foot, it's about ten minutes to the harbor and fifteen or twenty to the museums. It's very... More

Room 1 /First floor. Ugly room, DIRTY small bathroom with broken shower, mosquitoes, window view to a concrete wall, you can hear each step & talk in the hall. At 5 a.m. we were awaken by the staff, preparing the breakfast (the poor breakfast). The noisiest hotel I've ever been. Almost impossible to find parking place. The only advantage is... More

OK, so I didn't stay here for long (6 hours due to an unfortunate train strike), but the place seemed okay. The room was dated and not exactly user-friendly, as the shower deliberately didn't have a curtain, so the bathroom was drenched; plus the lack of a holder for the nozzle meant that showering was somewhat of a balancing act.... Thessaloniki is a beautiful city with one of the best waterfronts for bars/restaurants in Greece if not all of Europe. If this hotel was right in the thick of it, it would be perfect...but it is not. Instead it is tucked back, a 15 minute walk away. It has spacious rooms with twin beds (no big double beds, sadly), ensuite... More
